📍 酒莊背景
Caves São João 創立於 1920 年，位於葡萄牙中部 Anadia（安亞迪亞），是 Bairrada 地區最具歷史與代表性的家族酒莊之一。由 Costa 三兄弟（José、Manuel、Albano Costa）共同創立，最初以杜羅（Douro）及波特酒（Port）貿易為主，後來逐步轉向高品質餐酒與氣泡酒釀造。
1930 年代，酒莊邀請法國釀酒顧問 Gaston Mennesson 引入「香檳傳統法（Méthode Traditionnelle）」，成為葡萄牙起泡酒的技術先驅；1950 年代更推出全國首款標註「Reserva」的酒款，象徵品質與典藏的象徵。
1960–1970 年間，酒莊收購著名葡萄園 Quinta do Poço do Lobo（位於 Cantanhede，約 37 公頃），該地以石灰質與黏土混合土壤聞名，出產高酸度且富礦物感的葡萄，為釀造陳年紅酒提供絕佳條件。
